Research:
My main research interest is empathy and perspective-taking. More specifically, I am interested in examining empathy for positive emotions between romantic partners. I would like to examine this question in a behavioral experience-sampling study as well as a functional magnetic resonance imaging study. By taking this multi-method approach, I hope to understand the basic processes of empathy and perspective-taking, as well as how these processes may affect relationship satisfaction and well-being.
