Graduate Trainee - Psychological Studies of Education (Graduate School of Education)Advisor: Professor Sandra Graham Year Entered Doctoral Program at UCLA: 2006 Undergraduate School/Major: State University of New York, College at Geneseo BA in English and Certification in Secondary Education Email: krothstein@ucla.edu Research: I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychological Studies of Education at UCLA to have an opportunity to conduct research in two areas: bullying and multiracial adolescent identity. For bullying, I am interested in teacher attitudes toward bullying and how they are prepared to deal with student aggression as well as differences in teachers' and students' perceptions of bullying. Regarding multiracial adolescents, I am interested in the friendships multiracial adolescents establish and their sense of ethnic identity, attachment, and belonging.
