Research:
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychological Studies of Education at UCLA to have an opportunity to conduct research in two areas: bullying and multiracial adolescent identity. For bullying, I am interested in teacher attitudes toward bullying and how they are prepared to deal with student aggression as well as differences in teachers' and students' perceptions of bullying. Regarding multiracial adolescents, I am interested in the friendships multiracial adolescents establish and their sense of ethnic identity, attachment, and belonging.
